Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was an impassioned devotee of Shri Krishna. He had
only one wish: to be Shri Krishna, knowing that each one of us is a diverse
form of Shri Krishna. Therefore, he was a unique devotee – his behaving was
aligned with his knowing. Although many of us know that we are all a diverse
form of a divine being, we do not dedicate efforts to be that divine being. As
long as we remain a copy of a divine being, we can’t be a unique devotee.
There are many copies, but an impassioned devotee is the only copy that
activates the potential to be the divine being.
